Summoning {Tag: Anyone}

Hiccup dragged himself through the graveyard, shivering. Not from the cold, but from fear. While most of the villagers came to Jack's grave because they had to, Hiccup went on his own consent. His powers were so emotionally crippling, seeing how the only times they faltered was around Jack, he headed toward the familiar grave, hoping for a decent break from his powers. Rapunzel followed behind, although she kept herself a fine distance away. She was reluctant to come, however she felt a strong urge telling her to come along. At least she could ensure herself a night of peace.

Rapunzel cringed slightly. Despite her bravery she didn't want Jack hitting them with another curse. Hiccup protectively slid in front of her. "We were just going for a walk." He lied. Relief washed over him when Rapunzel gripped his arm nervously. Both their powers were off for the time being. Hiccup looked uncomfortably at the graves on fire. "Who are they?" Hiccup was never afraid of Jack so much as wary of him.

Rapunzel seemed to loosen up when Hiccup patted her arm. She hadn't been able to hold her brother in so long, so it was comforting. "I don't know. Some people here could be great runners up." Rapunzel hadn't expected that to come out so mean. "How come our...powers only...turn off when you're around?"

Rapunzel frowned, hearing how her chances of a normal life went up in flames. Hiccup spoke up. "But why give us all these powers? What's to gain from them?"

Rapunzel screamed as Hiccup went flying. She covered her mouth in shock. "Y-You!" she glared at Jack. Part of her wished she could bring out Elsa on him. Rapunzel ran to Hiccup's side, helping him up. Hiccup groaned from the pain in his backside. "Why would you do that?" Rapunzel demanded, supporting Hiccup with her hands. "Id rather be far away from you with my powers than around you without them!"

Rapunzel gulped but held her ground. "You think I care? Everyone in town knows you're watching. That's why they're all so afraid of you!" Rapunzel clenched her fists and narrowed her eyes. Through gritted teeth she spat, "I'm. Not. Afraid. Of. You." She turned around to face Hiccup.
