Hiccup's new fireproof gloves from Rapunzel finally allowed him to open the door on his own. It felt relieving. Seeing how there was a new Gym he figured he could use the exercise. Hiccup settled on the treadmill, it didn't require him to use his hands to often. Half an hour in and building up speed he felt pretty good. The door dinged in the background alerting the entry of another customer.

Guy opened the door to the gym and walked in with a happy grin. Oh yes, he was happy indeed! His lips were still tingling from Jack's kiss. Now he really didn't have to hold himself back around Jack completely anymore. He stretched slightly as he looked around and spotted Hiccup on the treadmill. His grin slightly faltered but quickly turned into a smirk. Guy wondered if he could scare him again...

Hiccup turned up the speed, he was always a runner. In school he was the odd one out while Rapunzel was head cheerleader, class president, popular, yada yada. But running was his thing. He seemed pretty pumped from his workout that he turned to see if the drink machine was open. Once he saw Guy he nearly fell off the treadmill. The very cherry on top to this lovely day.

So all he did to get that reaction was just stand here and do nothing? He couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Heya, Fire boy! Whoops! I mean Hiccup!" Guy greeted Hiccup in a joking manner as he headed toward the male.

Hiccup continued to jog on the treadmill. "Hey there Scotty. Oops I means Guy." He glanced at him, still perturbed by the events of yesterday. "What brings you here?" he joked.

Guy slightly rolled his eyes at hearing his 'past' name. He slightly blushed lightly unconsciously when he remembered why he came here. "Uh, I guess to workout and calm my emotions right now." he said with a quick grin while willing his blush away.

Hiccup noticed Guy's blush. He ignored it and turned up the speed even faster. "Oh really? The city life too rough for you?" he teased.

Guy rolled his eyes and shook his head. "They're not bad emotions, it's just that they're affecting too much of how I'm acting today." He laughed lightly. "Oh please! I came from a rough city. Why do you think I know how to fight?" He glanced at Hiccup and asked with slight sincerity in his voice, "Is...your stomach okay?"

Hiccup rolled his eyes hearing about Guy learning to fight. Hiccup wasn't a ninja but he was decent. He looked confused towards Guy by the actual sincerity in his voice. "I'm fine. How's the cheek?"

"That's good to hear!" He exclaimed with a sheepish grin. "Oh my cheek is fine. Strikes to the cheek don't really hurt me that much anymore. Just...makes me lose my temper quickly"

Hiccup was surprised how normal the conversation was despite the events yesterday. If not for that night Hiccup suspected the two could actually be friends. "I wouldn't want to be around when that happens, especially after a trip to the Gym." he laughed, checking his heart rate on the treadmill.

Guy noticed Hiccup's surprise and grinned. Guy should be mad at Hiccup for yesterday but couldn't really much, due to what happened today and that he only just met Hiccup yesterday. They just started...at a bad start yesterday. Guy laughed lightly at this and waved his hand. "No worries. I haven't gotten that mad since before I came to Discord. You're actually the first person here to ever do that. Kudos to you," Guy joked.

Hiccup shrugged. "I do my best." he jogged in silence for a few moments before looking back to Guy. "What can you like, do? I saw you moving back and forth between the cars but never got a good look."
