(I just couldn't wait~ I wanted to reveal this secret in a thread. But Discord 2 is here, so a few of the secrets can come out :3)
It was her fault! She knew that her death was going to come so soon. But she was stupid enough to think that those bastards would do more than that. The woman clenched her bleeding arm tightly, as she tried to peer through the smoke and raging fire. She whimpered softly as she peeked behind her shoulder at the body underneath the pile of rubble.
“K-Korso. You damn fool,” she hissed softly, her voice cracking with sorrow. They could’ve died with each other under that rubble. But Korso knew something had been off with the plans today and recognized the danger that affected not only them. She had a mission before she died. Anita had to find him! She had to save him!
The female struggled to her feet cautiously and tried to limp around inside the burning house. She pushed herself harder and harder, cringing as the fire singed multiple parts of her body. After what seemed like an hour to the woman, her eyes finally spotted him in the living room. She was only a short distance from the young male's body. Anita's heart blossomed with relief then cracked at the closer look of the body. But her eyes then burned with anger when she spotted how he was angled on the floor, like the male had struggled against his attackers but lost miserably. They had hurt him! Her son!
"W-Why were you here? You weren't suppose to be here!" she cried out in sorrow and anguish. Anita struggled through the rubble towards his body, her fingers immediately going to his neck. Anita sighed shakily in relief when she felt his heartbeat. He was alive barely...Anita's gaze shot up towards the sound of sirens and choked back a sob.
"A-About time you worthless imbeciles," Anita sobbed as she looked down at her son then towards the door that lead to life and help. She paused for a moment, a dozen of thoughts ran through her mind. Then closed her eyes for a moment before opening them again with electric blue eyes.
"T-Thank you, G-great Aunt Sarah," Anita whispered before leaning down and kissing the male's forehead softly. An electric blue hue appeared on his forehead before vanishing quickly. "I'm sorry, but I can't let you...remember. Those people would kill you if they find out that you remembered today." Anita murmured, smiling sadly at casting a memory spell on her only son.
Anita grabbed his arms and pulled him over to the door, ignoring the fire and pain in her arm. She then limped and crawled a safe distance from her son and the door. She murmured a protection spell surrounding the male, before wiping away her tears. Anita dropped to the ground in a heap, slowly beginning to give in to the pain and loss of her magical strength, as the sirens go closer and closer.
"I-I will come back soon. Mother loves you dearly," she murmured softly, her gaze losing sight and death starting to come upon her. As her eyes fluttered closed, she saw the firemen break down the door, quickly swooping up Nolan into their care. She breathed one last relieved breath and murmured something softly before succumbing to death.
"N-Nolan..."
