Pinkie hides from Rose's sight in order to get a good veiw of how to find Gary's room. Knowing Gary would recognize her as one of Jackson's employees if se went in herself, Pinkie knocked out a nurse and put on her outfit.

"This'll be a peice of cake," she thought to herself, "Just figure out how to kill the kid without making it look like murder and head back Mr. O with the scoop."

Pinkie went into the unoccupied room next door to Gary's and drilled a hole into the wall smaller enough to not be noticeable, but big enough to hear what Red and the others were saying.
