"Oh, that's no fun. Must make things a bit difficult. Are your clothes designed specially or something then of burn proof material? And if so couldn't you make more normal gloves out of similar material? Or am I just being silly with things I don't understand?" His optic swiveled a little in thought.

Hiccup shrugged. "Rapunzel made my clothes. She sort of ran out of burn proof material so I'm stuck with these until she can get more."

"Ahh, I see." The robot fell silent for a moment, optic flicking over to Rapunzel for a moment before focusing back on Hiccup.
"So what does coffee taste like? I mean, I know you can get it in a big range of varieties, but I've only seen the menu and smelled the scents of it. And honestly I'm not sure which scents are which. With all their mixing together and floating about in the air."

Hiccup smirked. Wheatley was...he didn't know. He figured why Rapunzel liked him so much. "It all tastes different. But it's all slightly bitter. It can be either how or cold. I drink mine hot because it doesn't affect me."

"Interesting. I thought humans tended to like sweet tastes, but then I guess they can like more than one taste. It smells fairly sweet honestly, but maybe I'm getting the scent of the other things they're adding. So, it gives people more energy right? Has some.... thing, can't remember what it is called right now, that energizes you."

"Caffeine. Not as good as alcohol though. That stuff is bitter sweet."

"Yes, that's the word! Oh, doesn't alcohol give you an opposite effect? Make you less aware and alert?"

"Exactly. That's what makes it so great. I haven't been able to get drunk since I moved here. Rapunzel regulates it for me."

((I wonder what a robot's equivalent to alcohol might be. )) "Huh, doesn't it suck after you get drunk though? I've heard humans get really bad headaches or feel sick sometimes after the alcohol wears off. Or is that if you over do it?"

Hiccup nodded. "It sure does suck. But it's worth it for the time being." He laughed. "What do robots drink?"

"Umm... we don't? Or at least, I'm not designed to be able to, maybe others are. I don't need to eat or drink anything. Although running certain programs Andy designed for me stimulate pleasant sensations like taste or affects of different things like caffiene."

Rapunzel returned with a cup of ice tea and a frapacino. "How you two holding up while I was gone?" She asked sweetly.

"We're good," Wheatley replied cheerfully. "Talking about different kinds of drinks."

Rapunzel smiled brightly. "That's neat. Learn anything new?" She sat beside Wheatley again, resting her head in her hands.

"Well, apparently coffee is bitter, which I wouldn't have guessed from its scent!"
