"No, out of the question!" Wheatley replied vehemently. "At least not until my friend recovers anyway. Not leaving him alone here, wouldn't be safe!"

Rapunzel nodded. "I understand. It's so great that you care so much for your friend." she smiled sincerely. "Maybe once he's better you'd have a greater chance. Although I hear Jack is always watching. I'd love to get my hands on his throat without any repercussions." she sighed.

"I would too, that is... if I had hands, these handles wouldn't do me much good now would they?"

Rapunzel chuckled. "You could always use your wires for a good strangle." Rapunzel's laugh faltered. I'm sinking into Elsa territory.

"Hadn't thought of that, but no, no! Could damage one of my wires doing that, then where would I be? Power gone from my optic, in the dark, not good, no, best to leave him alone. Leave him alone and me and my friend hopefully stay reasonably safe, no more blood, god I hate the blood.... awful really, don't mess around with brains, not pretty, not pretty at all," the robot babbled.

Rapunzel frowned. She'd had more than her fair share of blood. "Well do you need help? I'm always free. It sounds like a big job to do alone."

"He doesn't like strangers, I don't want to scare him...." Wheatley said uncertainly.

Rapunzel nodded. "That's OK. I just assumed you might need a little help. But i'd still like to meet him sometime. When he's ready of course. I'm trying to meet new people in Discord. I'm a bit tired of hiding in my house."

Wheatley bobbed up and down in a nod. "Well, I can mention you to him, see what he thinks.... He's got a minor case of serious brain damage, so we're taking things slow...."

Rapunzel's eyebrow's crinkled with concern. "Oh that's awful. Jack did that?!" she felt serious rage bubbling in her. Rapunzel hated Jack. And to think he'd do something so horrible to someone like that was almost painful to comprehend.

"It's a bit more complicated than that, but yes," Wheatley replied, optic lowering unhappily. "I couldn't defend him, he shorted me out."

Rapunzel folded her arms. "Gods I hate that kid. Did he attack the second your friend moved in? It took a while for us. Everything seemed normal until we went out and discovered the graveyard. We almost got away before he striked."

"He didn't attack us until he finished building me, but from what I can gather he'd been watching." Wheatley felt a pang of guilt. Some of the first sights he'd seen when his optic had started up were the attack. He couldn't shake the feeling that if he hadn't been built, hadn't been finished, Andy would still be safe.

Rapunzel chewed her bottom lip till it was numb. "It's not your fault you know." she had noticed the guilt in his voice. "It's no ones fault here. I bet everyone in Discord is innocent, yet were all basically cursed. I wish I could just walk out...but because of him I can't."

Wheatley bobbed uncertainly. "I've never known anywhere else, even if I could leave, would a robot like me be accepted elsewhere...?"
